Napranum Early Childhood Education Centre: 1x Childcare Assistant

Childcare Assistant: 1x Casual Position

General Responsibilities & Duties:

To take direction from the Director and Group Leader for the preparation and supervision of experiences and in all matters pertaining to the programs of the centre.
To be communicative, supportive, use initiative and to model appropriate language and attitudes.
To carry out the policies of the centre as prescribed by the employer.
To develop and maintain close communication and working relationships with all
other staff employed at the centre.
To maintain strict confidentiality in matters relating to children, parents and staff.

General Requirements

Previous experience working in a Child Care Centre is highly desirable.
The appointees should be punctual, honest, reliable, physically fit and willing to participate in all types of Child Care related duties.
Willingness to engage with children
A Children’s Commission Blue card is required or eligible to obtain one
A current driver’s licence and Senior First Aid certificate are highly desirable.
You will be prepared to enrol in a Certificate III Children’s Services
